Bristol Day One

On Wednesday I made my way to Bristol with my Brother,to meet up with my lovely friend, who's just moved up there. She did'nt finish work until late,so my brother showed me around Bristol for the day. First stop was his uni/ studio space,(hes a 3rd yr Art student) There was some really unusual and interesting art there,as you can imagine, along with a gallery with the strangest art works; light and music..but I enjoyed it all the same as its so different...

From there we walked into the main town, had some gorgeous food from ZaZa Bizarre,an all you can eat restaturant. Its worth going there simply for the deserts...
On our way round,we also stopped in my brothers local 'The Grain Barge' a little pub/boat docked up, which I can imagine would be beautiful to sit out on,in the summer. Can imagine though, its not the best place to be when tipsy,as it moves, obviously as its on the water..
We also stopped in this cool pub called 'start the bus' plays very cool chilled music, and play alot of live bands there,so look forward to going back there sometime. We sat outside for a while, and met up with my friend on her way home from work, and had tea outside the pub enjoying the live jazz music playing in the coffee shop opposite.
My brother soon left and me and my friend made our way back to her sweet little home, got ready for a little night out; of course. We went to this bar called 'the woods' for some cocktails and made our way to 'mbango' for some fun. Bristol is a new place to us both so didnt really know where to go out,so if anyone knows of any good places,Id love to know for next time...
My next post is Day two of Bristol, which I loved, wish I had longer there, and cant wait to go back!...

  2. I have an ancient laptop from IBM so I'm definitely not the best person to recommend anything here :P but about your trip to Bristol. you know I love day trips and all other trips so I also loved that post. I'm glad I'm not hungry though because otherwise I would have gone crazy because of the food pics :D you certainly had a lovely time with your brother and friend and I'm already looking forward to seeing part 2 and if you also shopped there (curiosity, you know ;). so far I wish you all the luck with that laptop issue and also a lovely rest of the week!
