Friendship Bracelets,are forever in fashion and worn by everyone,from celebs to your best friends. With some spare time on my hands,I went onto 'Youtube' and found numerous video's on how to make friendship bracelets. There's tens of different techniques,but I just kept with the simplest,basic idea,as you can see above. I added beads and charms to make them look more complicated and unique.

Whilst I'm saving money making my own,I'd absolutely love to be able to afford the ultimate in friendship bracelets; 'Links of London'...

RecYclED FasHioN

With the worlds enviroment everchanging and developing; and not always in a positive way, new and more effective ways of producing products,developing new ideas and using more resourceful and sustainable materials is becoming more inevitable for the future,to have a future for our planet.

In a fashion aspect of looking at this issue,there's so many ways of doing your bit for the enviroment,wether its recycling, customising,upcycling,swapping and trading clothes with friends,vintage,wearing organic materials...the list can go on and on.

Having an interest in the enviroment and fashion,I researched and came across www.bottletop.org . This organisation is really inspiring and so interesting to read there story,of the development of creating jobs and skills for  communities. Only starting this brand/charity four years ago,'Bottletop' have had huge success with sales,and celebrities have also been seen wearing their products.

Inspired by this I too,have started to recycle. With a huge collection of ringpulls,I had been saving for months,I made the ring and small clutch bag,as seen in the first three images above. Though Im quite pleased with how these turned out,there nowhere near as beautifully and skillfully made as the actual 'Bottletop bags', as seen in the images below....

When I saw the Fall/Winter Ad campaign for Dolce&Gabbana's 2011/12 collection,I instantly fell in love with the masculin styling mixed with super feminine,sexy dresses. The mix of star,musical notes and animal prints will add a bit of fun to anyones winter wardrobe.

Inspired by this ad campaign,and my last post of lip art,I decided to combine the two. Not spending any money,you can be on trend with star themed lips,even though I delt this can be worn all day...

Not everyone can afford these gorgeous designer garments(as seen in first two images) and not everyone can afford to keep up with the latest trends that are everychanging, but I've had a shop around and found some garments and accessories, at highstreet prices, and a beautiful accessorie if you fanscy treating yourself...

I loved the 'Asos' sheer blouse with star ruffle,shoulder detail so much,that I've orderd it,and can't wait for it to arrive in the next few days.I'll post some photo's when it arrives.

Whilst I was also on 'Asos.com' I saw this black star unitard,which instantly reminded me of Katy Perry's performance of 'Firework' on the 'X Factor' last year...as seen below...

I love the colours and shapes of flowers, there so beautiful and inspirational, so for this post I thought I'd post some of my own photographs and some other images,that really inspire me, and make me feel all summery!
The floral headpiece (above) is something I made for my first ever,uni project. I'm quite pleased with it, shame its too big to wear out everyday! Its just left in a box in my loft :(

I previously posted,about my Galaxy themed group project,I had to do for Uni. I was really inspired by graphic,galaxy prints and garments, especially Christopher Kanes stunning 2010 collection. So with this in mind, I experimented with some nail art, using 'Revlon- Midnight Affair' and 'Barry M- Pink Iridescent'...

Experimenting with Photography/Editing and Styling...

Black and White photography,strips back images to it's most purist form. Black and white, take away the fuss of colour in an image,leavung you with beautiful tones,shadowing and softer details.

In the images Above I have experimented with some styling (bold,oversized fringe,with hair pulled back into a bun,heart on cheek with black lips) I then used 'Corel Paintshop Pro x2' to adjust the images, using affects; such as mirroring,wind affects and filters, which I think has created quite an old fashioned yet modern look?.
